Makeup Consultation | 60 Minutes

Explore flattering colors, products, and application guidance tailored to your features and everyday routine.

Your appointment may include:

  • A conversation about your style, preferences, and makeup goals

  • Guidance on complexion products and shade selection

  • Personalized color recommendations for cheeks, eyes, and lips

  • Demonstration of selected application techniques

  • Suggestions for a manageable routine you feel comfortable recreating

An ideal choice if you would like more time to explore your makeup options or refresh your overall look.

Consultation Pricing

Either consultation is $30. Your consultation fee is waived with a purchase of $100 or more in Jane Iredale products during your appointment.

If your product purchase is less than $100, the $30 consultation fee applies in addition to your purchases.

Consultations focus on product selection and personalized guidance. For a completed makeup look for a wedding, photographs, or another occasion, please book a separate makeup application appointment.

I’m Joan, co-owner of St. George Island MedSpa + Wellness.

Trained by Jane Iredale makeup artists, I offer personalized makeup application and consultations at our Beauty Bar. I especially enjoy helping women rediscover what makeup can do for them, whether that means finding an everyday foundation, feeling comfortable with a new technique, or bringing a special occasion look to life.

Our time together begins with listening. I want to understand what you love, what feels unfamiliar, and what you would like to see when you look in the mirror.

Stop in to discover a new lip color, replenish a favorite, or explore products you’ve been curious about. For dedicated foundation matching or personalized makeup guidance, please reserve a consultation.

Our collection includes complexion products, cheek and eye color, lip products, brushes, and application essentials. We carry a curated selection rather than every product and shade in the complete line.

Before You Visit

Please allow our team to assist with all testers and product sampling so we can maintain hygienic application practices.

The Beauty Bar is located inside the MedSpa, where other clients may be receiving treatments. To help preserve a comfortable environment, we kindly ask that young children not accompany you during shopping visits or appointments.

Teens visiting to shop, explore makeup, or participate in a scheduled consultation are welcome.

For appointments, please arrive a few minutes early so you can enjoy your full reserved time.

Do I need an appointment to shop?

No. You are welcome to browse and shop without an appointment. Color matching, makeup consultations, and makeup application require an appointment.

Which consultation should I book?

Choose the 30-minute Color Match Consultation if your primary goal is to find foundation shades and formulas suited to your skin.

Choose the 60-minute Makeup Consultation if you would like broader guidance on colors, products, and selected application techniques for your everyday routine.

How much does a consultation cost?

Either consultation is $30. The fee is waived when you purchase $100 or more in Jane Iredale products during your appointment. If you purchase less than $100, the consultation fee applies in addition to your purchases.

Does a consultation include special occasion makeup?

No. Consultations focus on selecting products and providing personalized guidance. If you want a completed look for a wedding, photographs, or another event, please book a makeup application appointment.

Can you help if I rarely wear makeup?

Absolutely. Your appointment can focus on a simple routine, comfortable formulas, and a few flattering products. Tell us what you feel comfortable wearing and what you would like help with.

Can you help with makeup for mature skin?

Yes. We can help you explore formulas, finishes, colors, and application techniques based on your skin’s texture, your coverage preferences, and the look you want to achieve.

 

Is Jane Iredale suitable for sensitive or breakout-prone skin?

Jane Iredale makeup is sensitivity tested and non-comedogenic, meaning it is formulated not to clog pores. Trusted by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and skincare professionals, the line is carried in select medical practices and fine spas.

Individual allergies can still occur. Please share any known sensitivities before your appointment.

Do you offer bridal and special occasion makeup?

Yes. We are booking bridal makeup, mothers of the bride and groom, special events, celebrations, beach portraits, and family photographs. Please contact us for pricing and availability.

Do you travel to my location?

On location makeup services on St. George Island may be arranged by request, subject to availability. Additional fees apply.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, although seating is limited. If your friend would also like a consultation or makeup application, please reserve a separate appointment.

Do you carry every Jane Iredale product?

We carry a curated selection of products and shades. Please call ahead if you are looking for a specific item.
