Meet Renee
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner + Co-Founder
Originally from outside Nashville, Tennessee, Renee developed her skills under the guidance of renowned medical doctors and leading industry experts, cultivating a precision-focused, evidence-based approach to medical aesthetics and holistic wellness.
Her passion for wellness stems from years as a Registered Nurse in dialysis and rehabilitation, giving her deep insight into addressing the root causes of health and skin concerns. Renee integrates comprehensive patient assessments to optimize overall health, beauty, and rejuvenation.
As the primary on-site provider, Renee delivers all treatments under protocols established by our dual Board-Certified physicians, ensuring every service is safe, clinically sound, and personalized. She embodies SGI MedSpa’s commitment to patient-first, results-driven care, where luxury meets medical excellence.
Meet Dr. Alfredo A. Paredes Jr., MD
Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon | Medical Director
Dr. Alfredo Paredes, MD is a nationally recognized, Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon with over 20 years of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. A magna cum laude graduate of Emory University School of Medicine, he completed a competitive plastic surgery residency and practices at Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic, part of Ascend Aesthetic Partners—an elite physician-led alliance known for clinical excellence and patient-focused care.
At St. George Island MedSpa + Wellness, Dr. Paredes provides expert medical oversight and develops protocols for all aesthetic services. His surgical expertise and refined understanding of facial harmony inform the safe, effective, and artistic standards we uphold.
Our on-site providers deliver treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, PRP/PRF therapies, and advanced laser treatments following Dr. Paredes’ guidance, ensuring natural, personalized, and medically sound results.
Meet Dr. Jonathan Perry, MD
Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician | Medical Director
Dr. Jonathan Perry is a Board Certified family medicine physician dedicated to comprehensive and preventive healthcare. A Georgia native, he graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital before joining his current practice in Tallahassee, Florida.
As a provider with Tallahassee Medical Group, one of the region’s largest and most respected physician networks, Dr. Perry offers a wide range of primary care services, including well visits, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
He also serves as the Supervising Physician for wellness services at St. George Island MedSpa + Wellness, providing remote clinical oversight and protocol development. In this role, he oversees services such as IV vitamin therapy, medical weight management, hormone optimization, peptide therapies, and other wellness-focused treatments.
Committed to evidence-based care, Dr. Perry ensures that all services under his supervision meet the highest standards of safety, integrity, and effectiveness, supporting personalized, preventive health offerings on St. George Island, Florida.
Meet Brandi
Registered Nurse
A true native of Apalachicola, Florida, with over 20 years of advanced nursing experience in invasive cardiology and procedural care, Brandi recently returned home from Alabama. She brings expert skills in sterile technique, patient monitoring, vascular access, and medication management to St. George Island MedSpa + Wellness.
Brandi delivers safe, precise IV vitamin therapies, injectable wellness treatments, and the SGI Signature Reset. With her steady hands and compassionate care, she ensures the highest standards of safety and comfort across a wide range of medical aesthetic and wellness services.
Outside of her clinical work, Brandi is also a licensed Realtor on St. George Island, where she enjoys helping families find their perfect home. Her deep local roots and diverse skill set make her a trusted presence, whether she’s enhancing your health or guiding you to your ideal island property.

Chief Innovation Officer + Co-Founder
Joan, originally from Vietnam and a longtime Fishers, Indiana resident, brings over 30 years of marketing, sales, and operations expertise to St. George Island MedSpa + Wellness. A top 1% national B2B sales leader with more than $295 million in career sales, she is known for blending strategic vision with operational excellence to create trusted client experiences. She now applies these skills to our practice with the same precision and care.
As Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Joan leads the medspa’s vision, marketing, sales, and operations with a philosophy rooted in evidence-based medicine and client-first service.
Her leadership shapes a one-of-a-kind environment where clinical standards meet luxury, allowing clients to feel supported, valued, and confident in their rejuvenation journey.
